DWF secures RSA defence panel reappointment on heels of Aviva

Law firm  DWF has been reappointed to RSA's defence legal panel, covering the insurer's motor, casualty, property and complex claims.

The news comes on the heels of a number of panel appointments secured by DWF in FY23, including Aviva, QBE, Hiscox and CNA Hardy.

DWF is one of the three firms to be appointed to the panel, reduced from the previous six-firm panel. The group has also extended the range of services it can provide through the panel, adding complex work in Northern Ireland.

Glyn Jones, global head of insurance at DWF, said: "RSA is one of our largest and longest-standing clients and we are absolutely delighted to have been reappointed to their defence legal panel. We look forward to continuing to strengthen our relationship with RSA."

Nigel Knowles, chief executive officer at DWF, added: "This is another great appointment for our colleagues in insurance and follows quickly on the heels of our reappointment to Aviva's core legal panel. It also provides further evidence of the shifting dynamics in the legal services market for clients to work with fewer providers, something we have been signalling for some time. Our ability to deliver integrated legal and business services is a clear differentiator and is helping us to win in the market."
