Economic losses from natural disasters top $232bn in 2019 - Aon

The 409 natural catastrophe events of 2019 resulted in economic losses of $232 billion – three percent below average annual losses for this century, but 20 percent lower than the previous decade, according to a new report from Global professional services firm Aon.
