Ed hires former Willis Towers Watson director for new A&H division

Ed, the re/insurance and specialty broker formerly known as Cooper Gay, has introduced a new accident and health (A&H) division with appointment of Graham Roberts as head of A&H.

The appointment is effective in December, and Roberts will report to Chris Bonard, chief executive officer, specialty.

Roberts has over 26 years of A&H experience, having joined from Willis Towers Watson, where he served as divisional director for over five years.

Chris Bonard said: “Graham is the latest in a series of high calibre market leaders who have been attracted to the Ed team and his appointment offers a glimpse of the scale of our ambitions. We are bringing together the best in the market.

“The accident and health sector is primed for a new approach in which clients are provided with the best solution for them regardless of location. I am very pleased to welcome Graham to Ed and I am certain that our new A&H offering will swiftly set itself apart under his expert leadership.”
