Ensurance strikes new deal for real-time digital risk reporting

London-based specialty lines managing general agent Ensurance has partnered with MGA technology provider Markit Systems to provide real-time digital risk reporting, policy administration and accounting information, across all underwriting and business lines.

The two companies have signed a long-term partnership agreement to configure Ensurance’s underwriting system.

Tim James, Ensurance CEO said: “After a thorough review, Markit Systems was selected for their knowledge and understanding of our market, system suitability and a commercial model aligned to our own growth ambitions. We were impressed by the team and their ability to both quickly configure and then adjust a solution to the evolving and specific needs of our business.”

“As an ambitious underwriting led MGA it is essential Ensurance is supported by a dynamic IT platform that provides real-time risk reporting and accounting information. This greatly improves our ability to manage and share key data with our capacity partners as well as assisting with strategic underwriting decisions. In addition, the capability of the platform to provide brokers with online portals is also significant for our growth over the coming years.”

Nicholas Thurlow, founding director at Markit Systems, said: "We were delighted Ensurance selected us as its technology partner. We are particularly excited to have an opportunity to work with a dynamic, fast growing MGA, which is well positioned to take advantage of a market increasingly demanding higher levels of agility and responsiveness.”
