04-02-2021
ERS, provider of vehicle insurance, has appointed Neil Joslin as head of personal injury claims and Jacquie Ensinger as head of counter fraud.
Joslin joins the firm from Insure The Box, where he was chief claims officer with responsibility for developing the claims strategy and vision for the business with ultimate ownership of the relationship with the capacity providers in respect of claims.
Prior to this, he spent 17 years with Groupama in a variety of claims roles covering all the main classes of general insurance business. Joslin commences his role at ERS on 1 February 2016 and will report directly to Peter Smith, claims director.
Ensinger joins ERS from today (4 January) and will be responsible for ERS’ claims counter-fraud strategy, management of its dedicated units in London and Swansea and external partner relationships in order to further increase its recent success in combatting motor fraud.
Ensinger has spent the last five years as counter-fraud manager at Amlin, during which time she developed relationships with other insurers, the Insurance Fraud Bureau and Insurance Fraud Enforcement Department. Prior to this she spent 14 years at Aviva, where she was unit fraud manager.
Joslin’s appointment follows ERS’ promotion of Donna Willis to operations director in October last year. Ensinger’s appointment follows the promotion of Chris Carr to head of risk in July 2015.
"We have continued to make significant progress in this area and Neil and Jacquie’s arrival will give us the oversight necessary to build upon the foundations that we have laid over the past three years,” said Smith.
“I am confident that with them both on board we are well placed to continue to take advantage of the evolving environment in order to maximise ERS’ defendant capabilities and hunt down insurance fraud.
"Neil and Jacquie are yet more high quality recruits into ERS, showing that talented people are increasingly interested in working with us.”
