Everest bolsters Lloyd's general liability casualty unit with Ironshore hires

Everest Insurance, a part of Bermuda-based Everest Re Group, has expanded its Lloyd’s general liability casualty team with two senior hires from Ironshore Insurance.

Graeme McGeachie and Pete Graham will join Everest's international division based out of the company’s London office effective April 8, 2019. Everest hopes to benefit from their strong relationships with clients, coverholders and brokers worldwide.

McGeachie has been named casualty class underwriter at Everest’s Lloyd’s Syndicate 2786. He joins Everest from Ironshore Insurance, where he was the lead underwriter within the international specialty casualty practice. He has experience across the international casualty sector including Primary, Excess, and Binder business.

Graham has joined as a casualty underwriter. Most recently, he held the role of class underwriter within the international casualty practice at Ironshore.

"Our International Insurance team is excited to welcome the first-class talent that Graeme and Pete bring to the General Liability group," said Vincent Vandendael, CEO of Everest Insurance International. "With their respective industry experience and underwriting knowledge, I have no doubt both Graeme and Pete will be true assets to our growing International Insurance team, and to the clients we serve.
