Everest Insurance changes commercial casualty leadership

Everest Insurance, the specialty insurance division of Bermuda-based Everest Re Group, has made several changes to its commercial casualty leadership team in the US Northeast, South, Midwest, and Southwest regions.

Frank Engle has been appointed vice president & regional leader for the South, overseeing Everest’s commercial casualty teams in Atlanta and Houston. He joined in 2018 in the Atlanta office and has helped Everest further establish its presence in the market. He will now look to develop similar growth in Houston in his new role.

Marc Costa will be transferring from Everest’s New York office to Chicago as vice president & regional leader responsible for the unit’s growth and expansion in the Midwest. He joined Everest in 2017.

Scott Weiss has been promoted to regional leader for the Northeast. He joined Everest in 2018 and will be focused on expanding the Everest commercial casualty team in New York, along with deepening its underwriting presence in Philadelphia and Boston.

Finally, Garrett Myklak has been promoted to assistant vice president and regional leader for the Southwest, he will lead the team in Los Angeles, supporting brokers across the region. He joined the company in 2017.
