FIDES unveils 2019 programme of international insurance experts
Taking place in Bolivia for the first time, the programme for the 37th Hemispheric Insurance Conference of the Inter-American Federation of Insurance Companies (FIDES) has been unveiled by the Bolivian Association of Insurers (ABA).
Running from the 8-10 September 2019 at Los Tajibos hotel, the event will examine new trends and technologies and offer high level networking opportunities, after teeing off with a golf tournament at the Urubó Golf Country Club on Sunday (8 September).
Senior insurance executives, including FIDES president Luis Enrique Bandera, ABA president Rodrigo Bedoya and José Luis Camacho, president of the FIDES Bolivia 2019 Organizing Committee, will be part of the inauguration ceremony on Monday (9 September).
Esteemed guest Enrique García Rodríguez, former CEO of CAF (Development Bank of Latin America), former minister in Bolivia, former Bolivian governor for the World Bank Group, IDB and the Financial Fund of the Plata Basin (Fonplata), member of the Development Committee of the IBRD and the IMF, will present the main conference programme. This will showcase international specialists sharing knowledge and plans for technology, innovation, regulations, and insurance market disruption, among other interesting topics.
Conference attendees will be able to visit ExpoFIDES, to discuss business and see the latest insurance innovations. Exhibitors include Munich Re, IRB Brasil Re, Allianz and Everest, among many others.
