ForceManager snaps up Italian tech startup Sellf
Barcelona, Spain-based AI-powered sales management software solutions provider ForceManager has acquired Italian technology company Sellf to strengthen its global position.
The deal will add Italy to the company’s network of office locations which includes UK, Germany, Mexico and Colombia. It is also planning to open its first US-based office later this year. ForceManager has worked with insurance companies such as Generali, Axa, Securitas Direct and DKV.
With the integration of Sellf’s teams and products, ForceManager aims to transform smartphones into the intelligent sales assistants of the future. According to the company, this will help close the gap between the sales strategy and its execution, digitizing processes, and developing new ways to motivate and incentivise sales teams. ForceManager will provide insurance agents with the tools to sell and report remotely.
“The acquisition represents a major milestone for ForceManager and our international expansion,” said Oscar Macia, CEO and co-founder of ForceManager. “Sellf’s expertise in gamification offers us an added value that we want to enhance with the aim of digitizing the entire user experience.”
Diego Pizzocaro, CEO and founder of Sellf, who will hold the position of managing director of ForceManager in Italy, said: "ForceManager brings us a very powerful product, team, customers and international presence. At Sellf, we know that together we can achieve bigger things, staying at the forefront of technological advances and especially, mobile trends, providing our customers and the industry with a better service and a first class product."
Luis Badrinas, CEO and partner of Community of Insurance, commented: "Digital transformation of the sales department has really been the Achilles’ heel of the insurance market. Making the leap to technological innovation, this industry offers great potential to optimize processes and sell more efficiently.”
“With the union of ForceManager’s AI technology, Cognitive, and Sellf’s gamification functionalities, we now have a very comprehensive tool not only focused on making commercial management more efficient but also on encouraging salespeople, turning sales into something more dynamic, rewarding and fun, which is the most important aspect.”
