Former AIG chief underwriter joins cyber insurtech to drive next phase of growth
Cyber managing general underwriter Corvus Insurance, a provider of smart commercial insurance products powered by AI-driven risk data, has appointed its first president from AIG.
Madhu Tadikonda's (pictured) appointment as president is a key step in preparing the company for its next phase of growth.
Tadikonda has over a decade of insurance experience, both with traditional carrier and insurtechs. He began his insurance career at AIG, serving as both chief data scientist in commercial insurance and then global chief underwriting officer. More recently, he co-founded Archipelago Analytics, an innovative data platform that uses AI to digitize risk for large owners of commercial property. He was also a founding executive at insurance exchange bolttech, which has recently achieved the unicorn status with its latest funding round.
In his new role, Tadikonda aims to collaborate with policyholders, brokers and reinsurers to face and mitigate the rapidly evolving threats and cyber risks to the core digital assets and online operations of today’s businesses.
