Founder of PIB and EC3 Brokers joins Endeavour as non-exec chair
Lloyd's broker Endeavour Insurance Services has appointed the founder of PIB and EC3 Brokers Chris Giles as non-executive chairman.
The move is a part of Endeavour’s strategy to expand into new areas of risk and invest in innovative technology to modernise and streamline business processes, according to the press release.
"We’re very proud of both the expansion trajectory we are on, and the company culture of teamwork and support that we have all worked so hard to foster,” said David Lawrence, CEO of Endeavour Insurance Services.
"At the same time, we are keenly aware that the pressure is on brokers to demonstrate that the role they are undertaking is indispensable and adds value to the re/insurance process. From investing in new claims handling technology, to offering domestic producing brokers innovative portals that allow them to compete effectively at a local level, our aim is to be a significant driving force in transforming the way producing markets do business with Lloyd’s and the wider London market.”
Giles commented: "There are multiple avenues for business development, including attracting fresh investment to accelerate growth, and I am looking forward to exploring these options with the Endeavour team."
