Gallagher continues 'hiring mission' with Aon reinsurance specialist

Capsicum Re, a global reinsurance broker owned by Gallagher, has hired a senior reinsurance specialist from Aon to join its expanding business as a partner.

Jerry Blake has held multiple senior broking positions during his 34 years with Aon. He will take up his new role within Gallagher Re in September 2021. Capsicum Re will be renamed Gallagher Re with effect from October 2020.

Gallagher said Blake has a reputation for his innovative approach to risk transfer management and his ability to secure high quality reinsurance capacity on even the most complex risks for global clients.
