Gallagher plucks Aon offshore energy guru in renewables team build-out

Insurance brokerage  AJ Gallagher plucked an offshore energy guru from Aon with a hope that a bespoke offshore coverage background will position Gallagher to stay ahead of the curve in a fast-evolving segment.

Mike Parry brings 35 years of industry experience, most recently leading Aon's European energy team as the peak of a 23-year stint. He held senior energy roles at JLT and Marsh serving clients in all sectors of the industry, in particular supporting the development of major offshore installations.

Gallagher has tasked Parry with keeping the brokerage up to date on a fast-evolving offshore wind sector, including new technology deployment and risk financing innovations.
