Generali has hired the former head of general insurance at Zurich in Brazil to run its own Brazilian insurance subsidiary.
Hyung Sung Mo has been appointed CEO of Generali Seguros Brazil, replacing José Ribeiro who leaves the group.
Sung Mo has more than 30 years’ experience in the insurance market. He is an economist and has a Masters degree in Economics at the University of St. Paulo. He has also worked for Mapfre and Mitsui Sumitomo.
He will report to Jaime Anchustegui, CEO of Generali for Latin America.
