Guy Carp hires Skuld EVP as P&I head

Guy Carpenter has appointed Simon Smith, formerly of Skuld Services, as head of EMEA & international P&I business.

Smith will be responsible for all the global marine & energy team’s activities in the region and will also oversee all international P&I business.

He will be based in London and will report to James Summers, head of global marine & energy.

Smith has 30 years of experience in the marine market and was previously executive vice president at Skuld Services responsible for business development, as well as being a member of the firm’s management board.
