HDI and Griffin Highline launch financial and cyber MGA, Falcon Risk

HDI Global Specialty SE (HDI) has partnered with Griffin Highline Capital and Craig Landi to form Falcon Risk Holdings (FRH), a managing general agency that offers a full suite of insurance services.

FRH is initially focused on underwriting and claims management of financial and cyber lines throughout the US. Landi, who has more than three decades of underwriting experience, serves as co-founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of the business.

FRH pursues an analytical approach to underwriting and claims management, while leveraging its broker relationships to nationally distribute its management, professional and cyber liability product portfolio.

HDI and its US affiliates support FRH with its underwriting capacity and A+ rating from S&P and A rating from AM Best.

Ralph Beutter, CEO of HDI, said: “We have a great opportunity to provide a new and compelling offering to the US market through this MGA partnership with Griffin Highline.”
