HDI Global taps insider for head of cyber & financial lines role
Industrial lines insurer HDI Global SE has tapped one of its own to take up the key position of head of cyber and financial lines.
Meike Röllecke (pictured) will take up the role responsible for managing the global underwriting business of the industrial insurer with cyber insurance policies for industrial and corporate clients.
In her new role, she will concentrate on optimally adapting the product portfolio to customer requirements, with a strong focus on the development and provision of advisory and service offerings for the management of the cyber risks. She will be responsible for the development and implementation of the HDI Global cyber strategy.
Röllecke has been head of cyber local risk at HDI Global, and previously held various posts in the company, including board assistant in the finance & risk management division and the risk management department of the Talanx Group, which HDI Global SE is part of.
Mukadder Erdönmez, a member of the management board of HDI Global SE responsible for liability and cyber insurance and for motor fleet insurance, said: “I’m delighted that we have been able to appoint an expert from our own ranks to head this important line of business.
