Heritage reshuffles leadership

Heritage Insurance has reshuffled its senior team as it prepares for business expansion through Guernsey and London.

Karl Bradley, Heritage Group director, has been appointed as managing director of UK broking arm Heritage Insurance Solutions Limited (HISL) and Grant Mitchenall has been promoted to managing director of Heritage Insurance Brokers based in Guernsey.

Bradley will remain an active member of the Heritage Insurance Brokers’ board.

Richard Tee, Heritage Group chief executive officer, said the top level moves have been made to capture the opportunities Heritage Insurance has cultivated in recent years in the intermediary market.

“Karl and Grant’s moves are exactly in line with Heritage Insurance’s strategic development and ensure we maximise our position through growing our insurance intermediary activities - whether by product, jurisdictions or expertise and innovation,” he said.

He added: “Karl understands the London market and has a thorough grasp of what our clients need. He has built a reputation for excellence in corporate risk and a high level of professionalism. It was a natural progression for him to focus his attention on developing HISL and it is something our clients will welcome.”

Bradley said: “Heritage has worked to establish increasing market capacity in the UK. We are ensuring we are positioned to seize the opportunities this will bring.”
