Hiscox USA reveals new chief operating officer

Specialist insurer Hiscox has appointed Josh Nevin as chief operating officer (COO) for its US business unit.

Nevin will be based in Atlanta, and will report to Ben Walter, CEO of Hiscox USA.

"Josh has demonstrated a strong aptitude for managing a broad range of programs in fast-paced environments," Walter said. "We are excited to welcome him as a key member of the leadership team and are confident his diverse background will be a tremendous asset to our company."

In the US, Bermuda-headquartered Hiscox offers general liability coverage alongside a diverse portfolio of executive risk, professional liability, property insurance and a full suite of small business insurance products.
