Ian Tomlin joins Special Contingency Risks to develop business

Ian Tomlin has joined Special Contingency Risks (SCR) to lead and manage the strategic development of its accident and health offering.

He will focus the growth and development of the accident and health client portfolio globally.

Tomlin’s experience covers the design, placement and management of complex corporate/high risk (war and terrorism), professional sports, personal accident and life, emergency medical and medical stop loss insurance and reinsurance programmes for diverse international clients.

He has worked with government and non-government organisations, private security companies, professional sports teams and associations, engineering and construction companies and media broadcasting networks and has a broad client experience.

“We are excited that Ian is joining our accident and health team. His industry experience of working with a wide variety of clients and advising on appropriate methods of risk transfer will help us navigate and maximise the potential for growing our A&H book”, commented Jo Holliday, Managing Director of SCR.

Tomlin began his career in 2008 at Aon, before moving to Ellis Clowes & Co in 2011. In 2014 he joined Marsh, where he headed up the Accident and Health, Life London Placement team.
