IMA appoints new chief operations officer
US-based IMA Financial Group has hired Anna Ewing, a former chief financial officer of Vodafone Americas, as its chief operations officer.
Ewing will oversee operational integration, business process optimisation and human capital management to better align the business initiatives within the insurance, wealth management and capital investment platforms of the group and its subsidiaries.
Most recently, Ewing was the COO and deputy director for the Colorado Office of Economic Development and led Colorado Governor Hickenlooper’s initiative, the Colorado Innovation Network. Before that, she was chief financial officer of Vodafone Americas.
IMA chairman and CEO Robert Cohen said: “Anna brings a diverse background of world-class operations, integration and human capital management to IMA. Her experience and leadership will further advance IMA’s goal of redefining the financial services industry.”
