Insurtech Neptune expands flood insurance coverage in US

Neptune Flood, a US-based online flood insurance company, has expanded its offering to three new states - Arkansas, Illinois and Idaho.

The company now offers flood insurance coverage in 42 US states.

Neptune said that it launched operation in these states in anticipation of the spring flooding season. Neptune' TRITON technology allows homeowners to buy flood insurance in minutes with no elevation certificate required. It uses advanced modeling and analytics to price appropriately for risk even in complex environments.

"We are expanding across the country to bring Neptune's easy to use technology to the normally complex flood insurance market," said Trevor Burgess, president and CEO of Neptune Flood.

"We're proud to be able to offer homeowners the protection they require that far surpasses what is offered by the traditional NFIP," he added.
