Insurtech unicorn Marshmallow joins Association of British Insurers
Marshmallow, a UK-based motor insurtech unicorn, has joined the Association of British Insurers (ABI).
Marshmallow’s membership comes after a period of rapid growth in 2021, which saw the business valued at $1.25 billion, making it a unicorn in the UK.
ABI said Marshmallow will contribute to the changing policy landscape in the insurance sector, share best practices and work to support the insurance industry, both in the UK and overseas.
James Dalton, ABI director of general insurance policy, said: “We are delighted to welcome Marshmallow as our latest member. ABI’s membership continues to reflect and represent the ever-changing nature of the insurance and long-term savings markets, and I look forward to engaging with Marshmallow on the wide range of issues and opportunities for the motor insurance market.”
