Investment and tech firm Peak6 looks to build insurance operation

Peak6, a US-based investing and technology company, is looking to build its insurance operation with the hiring of a long-time insurance industry executive Franklin.

Franklin has cross-functional leadership experience in claims, product development, distribution analytics, operations and relationship management in her previous roles with State Farm, Allstate, Universal North America and National General Insurance.

As managing director, Franklin will lead the development of a new insurance operation within Peak6.

She will report to the company partner George Ruhana and work with senior executives across the firm and its portfolio companies to identify opportunities to build and scale insurance capabilities.
