JLT Re hires former Willis Re SVP

JLT Re North America, a provider of reinsurance broking and consultancy, has appointed Scott Fields as senior vice president (SVP), effective August 1.

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Fields will be part of the workers’ compensation unit, focussing on the expansion and development of JLT Re’s casualty practice.

Fields most recently served as SVP at Willis Re, where he was a member of casualty and workers’ compensation practices.

Prior to Willis Re, Fields as held the position of senior vice president at Guy Carpenter.

Ed Hochberg, chief executive officer of JLT Re in North America, said: "With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Scott brings specialised knowledge of the Workers’ Compensation space, making him a strong addition to our expanding team.”
