JLT Specialty taps Marsh exec for US property practice

Risk advisor and broker JLT Specialty USA, a subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group (JLT), has appointed Josh Forbes as senior vice president to build its US property practice.

Forbes joins JLT from Marsh & McLennan Companies, where he served as the New York metro placement team leader within their property department. During this time, he was responsible for developing industry leading complex risk solutions for primarily REITs and financial institutions. He started his insurance career at Integro Insurance Brokers where he served as property broker.

Based in New York, Forbes will be tasked with a key role in delivering specialized solutions for JLT's real estate clients.
