Kenya Reinsurance experienced steady growth and an increase in profits in the first half of 2016.
Kenya Re reported gross written premiums of KSh7.1 billion ($69.1 million) for the six-month period ending June 30, a 14.5 percent increase from KSh6.2 billion for the same period in 2015.
Kenya Re's profit before tax for the period ending June 30 was KSh2.2 billion, an increase of 2.8 percent from KSh2.1 billion for the same period in 2015.
