Lancashire buys Sequel’s technology

Lancashire Group has become the third major insurance company to buy Sequel Impact, a risk exposure and aggregation product.

Stuart Blakeborough, group chief operating officer at Lancashire, said: “We looked very carefully at what was available in the market to support our specialist underwriting decision making – and we chose Sequel Impact. We considered that it was the most suitable software for our energy business and its accurate real time reporting has been particularly useful.”

Rob Stavrou, Sequel’s sales and marketing director, said: “Lancashire joins an advanced guard of leading insurance firms using this proven and powerful decision support tool to their great advantage. More and more firms are benefiting from Sequel Impact’s accuracy, its speed and its ease of use.”
