Liberty looks to major international firm for first aviation claims head

Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has hired its first head of aviation claims from a major international law firm.

Peng Lim (pictured) will join  LSM in November to take up the newly created role designed to support the growth of the insurer’s aviation book. She will relocate to London, reporting to Mike Gillett,  LSM’s chief claims officer.

Lim is currently Kennedys’ Singapore-based global head of aviation. Prior to joining the firm in 2014 she worked with another major international law firm Clyde & Co.
