Lloyd's appoints new international chief financial officer

Specialist re/insurance marketplace Lloyd’s of London has promoted Jonathan May to the role of international chief financial officer (CFO).

May most recently served as Lloyd’s Asia Pacific chief financial officer. Prior to that, he was CFO and COO of China, based in Shanghai. He joined Lloyd's in 2006 from EY, where he was senior audit manager.

In his new role, May will be responsible for finance across our international network. He will continue to report into Lloyd's CFO Burkhard Keese.

May commented: "The international network plays a vital role for the Lloyd's market and it has been an amazing experience working with both the Corporation and market teams across the Asia Pacific region. So it is fantastic to have the opportunity to work more closely with the teams across the other two regions."
