Lloyd’s insurer Apollo looks to Navigators to build out marine energy liability business

Specialist re/insurer  Apollo is looking to build out its ports and terminals business within its marine energy liability class with a senior Navigators hire.

Caroline Stanley has joined Apollo, having specialised in ports and terminals for more than 15 years.

Since beginning her insurance career at Navigators, Stanley has held a number of increasingly senior underwriting roles across The Hartford Group companies.

James Slaughter, Apollo Group CUO, said: “This is an exciting period of growth for Apollo as we continue to expand our expertise and deliver for our clients and partners across many areas. Caroline will play a key role in further diversifying our existing marine, energy and transportation division. She brings excellent knowledge of the ports and terminals class and this appointment exemplifies the exceptional talent we are attracting to deliver our vision and live our purpose.”
