LMA elects Laura Owen for personal accident committee

Laura Owen has been appointed to the Lloyd’s Market Association’s (LMA) personal accident committee.

The head of accident and health (A&H) at Hamilton at Lloyd’s, Owen has been elected to serve for a five-year term.

Furthermore, the head of specialty at Argo, John Moffatt, and senior class underwriter of accident and health at Talbot, William Waddell-Dudley have been re-elected to the committee.

The LMA leads on a wide range of issues affecting Lloyd’s managing agents and syndicates on behalf of the Lloyd’s market.

Owen said: "I am delighted to have been elected to the LMA personal accident committee, whose work is highly beneficial to A&H underwriters at Lloyd’s.

"I look forward to offering my expertise and experience to the important work of the committee."
