LMG replaces Lloyd’s bound Tiernan with Zurich's Kuchinski on board

The London Market Group (LMG) has appointed  Rob Kuchinski, head of commercial insurance at Zurich UK, as a member of its board.

He will replace Patrick Tiernan, managing director UK commercial lines & global corporate & specialty at Aviva, representing the International Underwriting Association (IUA).

Tiernan has recently been named chief of markets at Lloyd’s of London. He is replaced by Kuchinski as the new chairman of IUA.

Matthew Moore, chair of the London Market Group, said: “We are delighted to welcome Rob to the board. He will bring us both a tremendous depth of experience in the company market and his perspective as Chairman of the IUA, both of which will be vital in helping our understanding of this key part of the London market and in helping us to support all or stakeholders.”
