Lockton poaches Willis senior VP to expand to Seattle

Laura Walton, a senior vice president (VP) at Willis Towers Watson, has moved to insurance broker Lockton to lead its new Seattle office.

Lockton has hired Walton as part of its expansion in the Pacific Northwest, to lead business development and client strategy as senior VP.

For the past decade, Walton has advised middle-market and clients at Willis Towers Watson and The Fournier Group. She has worked with clients on risk management and commercial insurance in several industries, including food processing, financial services, aerospace/aviation, technology, manufacturing, hospitality, retail, and real estate.

"Laura Walton is a respected business advisor and client advocate," said Tim Noonan, president of Lockton's Pacific operations.

"She will help deliver real results for our clients and help to establish our business in Seattle."
