Lockton Re looks to Gen Re for casualty facultative leader in North America

Lockton Re, the global reinsurance business of broker  Lockton, has bolstered its casualty facultative capabilities in North America with a senior hire from Gen Re.

Craig Wadman (pictured) has joined the broker in Chicago as North American casualty facultative leader.

Wadman was most recently regional executive, Central Region at General Reinsurance Corporation (Gen Re), joining Gen Re in 2003 and holding several key roles within the company.

Lockton claims he has extensive management and underwriting experience, with a proven track record of building a performance culture.

Wadman will report to Rob McNamara, Lockton Re’s North American facultative leader, who said: “We are continuing to bring in high-caliber hires, which will amplify and strengthen our facultative presence and capabilities in North America.

“Craig brings more than 20 years of expertise to Lockton Re, as well as an in-depth understanding of risk – and will further strengthen our relationships with both clients and reinsurers.”
