Marketform hires QBE exec

Lloyd's underwriter Marketform has appointed Scott Frazer as the new head of claims for Australia.

He will be based in the Sydney office and will work to broaden Marketform’s claims offering in Australia.

Frazer joins from QBE Australia where he served as the long tail claims manager of the health team. He was responsible for all personal accident, accident and health and consumer credit insurance claims lodged in Australia, in addition to managing a medical malpractice portfolio in run-off.

John O'Neill, chief executive officer of Marketform Managing Agency, said: “Scott has developed considerable experience in managing claims over the course of 20 years in the insurance industry, with a particular focus on medical or injury type claims in both the underwritten and statutory spheres. He brings his unique skills and broad knowledge to our operation in Australia as we continue modernising our overall structure.”
