Miller appoints three executives

Miller has appointed senior executives into its corporate risks and reinsurance teams.

Richard Nash, a specialist in global property/casualty programme design and placement for UK and European corporates has joined Miller’s corporate risks team. Nash has over 25 years’ experience of working with UK and European multinationals on their global property/casualty programmes, with a specific emphasis on captive reinsurance. He is particularly well known in the Scandinavian market.

Nash has joined Miller from Gibbs Hartley Cooper where he was a senior vice president; he has also worked for Heath Lambert and HSBC Insurance Brokers.

Kevin Gill, a non-marine retrocession production and placement specialist, has joined Miller’s reinsurance team in London. Gill began his career in 1985 with EW Payne. He is a specialist in non-marine retrocession production and placement for clients located internationally. He has joined Miller having held a senior production and broking role at AonBenfield.

And Ian Wicks, a non-marine casualty reinsurance production and placement specialist, has also joined Miller’s reinsurance team in London.

Wicks has over 35 years’ experience of working with non-marine casualty reinsurance, primarily as a production and placement specialist and also as an underwriter. Previously at JLT Re, he has joined Miller to help develop its non-marine casualty reinsurance book and support the growth strategy of its reinsurance business as a whole.
