Miller hires onshore energy specialist in US

Re/insurance broker Miller has hired onshore energy specialist Ryanne Smith to further expand its energy capabilities in North America.

Smith has experience of both the US and London markets, having worked as a retailer and marketer in energy for both Marsh and Lockton in Houston; and for the onshore energy and structured credit & political risks teams at RKH Specialty in London.

At Miller, Smith will work with Daniel Nicholls and Graeme Valentine, focussing on North American oil and gas, midstream, power & utilities and renewable energy.
