Miller recruits World Cup star as it looks to expand its sport coverage

Miller has strengthened its sports and entertainment team, making a hire that it hopes will grow its business with rugby players.

Gary Rees, an account executive and former international rugby player who played in two World Cups with England, will lead Miller’s expansion into the rugby space. He will bring clients he has worked with for many years with him, Miller said.

James Hands, joint head of special risks at Miller, said: “Gary’s 20-plus years of experience helping clients in the world of rugby access risk management and insurance solutions makes him a great fit for the team at Miller.”
