MS Amlin lands ex-SCOR exec for US claims leadership role

Lloyd’s re/insurer  MS Amlin has appointed a new Americas reinsurance head of claims from SCOR.

Lynda Salas (pictured) has joined the company’s reinsurance team based in Miami, Florida.

Salas will be responsible for managing the claims portfolio for classes of business underwritten by MS ARMi. She will also oversee the recovery process for any outwards reinsurance purchased by the company.

MS Amlin described Salas as a “seasoned claims professional”.

Previously, Salas worked at reinsurer SCOR in New York as a senior claims examiner, according to her LinkedIn page.
