MSIG hires AJG exec
MSIG at Lloyd’s, the international specialty arm of Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group, has appointed Katie Wolff as e-trading & digitisation manager.
Wolff will develop and implement the online trading strategy at firm and focus on be MS-Sign, MSIG’s innovative e-trading platform, which provides a cross-class, web-based quote and bind system for brokers and coverholders.
She will report to Andrew Dougall, head of property and casualty.
Wolff joins from Arthur J Gallagher where she served as director of e-underwriting.
Dougall said: “Katie’s appointment demonstrates our strategic commitment to using technology to give our wholesale broker partners and coverholders access to new revenue streams.
“We are determined to bring more business into the London market and serve our SME clients more efficiently through the effective use of online platforms. Katie has the energy, experience and expertise to drive our business forward on to a new level."
