Munich Re CUO elected to Lloyd’s Council

The Council of Lloyd’s has elected Dominick Hoare, the chief underwriting officer (CUO) of Munich Re Syndicate, to the position of corporate-external member.

Hoare, who represents Munich Re Capital, will take up the seat previously held by XL Catlin's Paul Jardine, whose term expired on January 31.

Hoare will take up the position from April 19 and his term will run until January 31 2020.

Hoare has been the CUO for the Munich Re Syndicate since 2015, having previously been the joint active underwriter. He is an executive director of Munich Re Speciality Group, Munich Re Syndicate and Munich Re Capital.
