Munich Re reveals change to the supervisory board

Munich Re has appointed Renata Jungo Brüngger to company’s supervisory board with effect from 3rd January 2017.

Brüngger was appointed by the Amtsgericht (local court) in Munich as a successor to Wolfgang Mayrhuber, who stepped down from the position in December-end. He had been a member of the supervisory board since December 2002.

Brüngger has more than 25 years of experience and expertise in international commercial law in various companies.

The Swiss lawyer has been a member of the board of management of Daimler AG since January 2016, with responsibility for integrity and legal affairs.
