Nephila Advisors UK appoints MD

Nephila Capital, the investment manager specialising in reinsurance risk, has appointed Adam Beatty as managing director of Nephila Advisors UK.

The appointment is a promotion for Beatty, who has been with the firm, which provides non-discretionary sub-advisory and investor relations services, since 2013.

In January 2014, he assumed the role of active underwriter for Syndicate 2357.

Prior to joining Nephila, Beatty served as a managing director with Willis Capital Markets & Advisory, the Willis Group's investment banking arm.
