Nexus aims to be the biggest specialty MGA in Asia

Nexus says it aims to become the biggest specialty managing general agent (MGA) in Asia.

The company says the region continues to be a key driver in its growth strategy.

Nexus says it will be sending its top Asian management team to the 16th Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (“SIRC”) from 29th October to 1st November 2019, to demonstrate its commitment to Asia and Singapore – a region that has and will continue to be its key growth driver.

Anthony Egerton, chief executive of Nexus Asia, said: “We have an ambitious goal of becoming the largest speciality MGA in Asia and achieving $50 million in gross written premiums by the end of 2021. I am confident of saying that we are at the halfway mark of meeting these targets and am excited by the prospects here in Asia.”
