Lloyd’s insurer Novae Group has appointed Hanne Wagner as head of agriculture reinsurance, following Clive Hardy’s retirement as unit head.
Wagner joined Novae in 2012 and previously worked as an agricultural analyst for Endurance Worldwide Insurance, focusing on product development in the crop and livestock sectors. Prior to this she worked at R&V Versicherung.
Stuart Heath, divisional head of property at Novae, said: “Agriculture is an important class of business for Novae and my thanks go to Clive and Hanne for shaping and strengthening this unit. It is now the largest underwriter of agriculture reinsurance in the Lloyd’s market.
“Clive’s enthusiasm and energy will be greatly missed, he leaves with our thanks for the work he has done and we wish him all the very best in retirement. I am delighted Hanne will be leading the team; she has played a vital role alongside Clive since 2012 and I have every confidence that under her guidance, the unit will go from strength to strength.”
