PartnerRe appoints new head of structured risk from WR Berkley

Bermuda-based PartnerRe has appointed Jonathan Schriber as head of structured risk, North America P&C.

Most recently, Schriber was chief underwriting officer, global reinsurance at WR Berkley where he was involved in overall underwriting strategy, aggregate management and new product development. He joined Berkley Re America in July 2007 to manage the North American brokered treaty unit where he developed new lines of business including structured risk and opened a Canadian branch.
