PERILS swoops on Swiss Re's Takashi Goda to expand in Japanese market

Zurich-based catastrophe insurance data provider PERILS has appointed Takashi Goda as senior advisor for Japan.

Based in Tokyo, Goda will work closely with the PERILS team and the local insurance industry supporting the expansion of the company's services into the Japanese market. He has commenced his senior advisory role effective 1 September 2019.

Goda has previously worked with Swiss Re for 18 years and prior to that in the broking industry. Throughout his career he has held various senior positions and was previously head of Japan for Swiss Re and a member of the Asia management team until his retirement in 2014.
