PineBridge eyes up European insurance market with Apollo/JP Morgan hire
Global asset management firm PineBridge Investments has hired a former Apollo, JP Morgan executive in London as it looks to expand its insurance solutions capabilities in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
The company has appointed Vladimir Zdorovenin as head of insurance solutions, EMEA – a newly created role designed to develop strategic solutions for PineBridge’s insurance clients in the region.
In this role, Zdorovenin will work to propose, design, structure, and develop insurance-friendly investment solutions that offer attractive risk/reward trade-offs, most notably within the Solvency II framework. He will be based in London.
Additionally, he will be responsible for strengthening relationships with industry stakeholders such as rating agencies and insurance regulators.
Before joining PineBridge, Zdorovenin worked at Apollo Global Management as part of its Insurance Solutions Group International. He also worked at JP Morgan Asset Management as an executive director heading up institutional strategy and analytics for Japan and Australia, with cross-coverage across the rest of APAC.
