Pioneer expands political violence team with Advent hire

Pioneer Underwriters has bolstered its political violence team with the appointment of a new underwriter from Advent Underwriting.

Mark Kelsey was a terrorism and political violence underwriter at Advent. Prior to that, he served in a similar role at Aspen.

Graeme Rayner, group director of underwriting, said: “Pioneer’s priority remains to strengthen our niche product offering, to provide value to our capital partners through access to excellent distribution and underwriting services. Mark is a great talent and will provide a significant boost to our team. I would therefore like to warmly welcome him to Pioneer.”
